Herein lie the stories sung of Nikhil when the world was young.

Matrix Revolutions news
Release date is November 5 - that means next Wednesday. Officially, Warner Brothers is doing a global zero-hour release time on that day - for us, that's 9AM. Unfortunately, Tinseltown is not participating in the 9AM showing, so they must not start that early.
Please read below and contact me IMMEDIATELY. You can get your tickets at the URL below.
Therefore, I have already purchased a ticket online for the Noon showing on that day, and anyone that wants to is welcome to join me in blowing off work, school, etc. Early-bird price for the showing is just over 4 bucks! Heck ya!
However, the official outing will be for the evening of November 5. The theater is Cinemark Tinseltown and is located on the Strip in North Canton (North Canton/Canal Fulton exit), for those of you who don't know. We have only to decide what time to meet. Showtimes are listed at the Cinemark homepage.
Please feel free to invite your other friends as well - I would love to get a total group around 40 or more people. As usual, we will likely meet before-hand for dinner, or failing that, at the theater itself.
My cell phone is open to all of you for scheduling, etc. Call me with any questions about the outing.

The IEEE trip to Lockheed-Martin just finished, and it KICKED ASS! We got to fly a full-cockpit simulator, complete with all non-classified controls and multiple viewsceens that filled your field of view.
In addition, there was a wingman station with a set of Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar sticks (after seeing them, I want them now. Damn that $300 price tag!) amd a 50-inch plasma display. Oh, and a 15-inch touchscreen LCD for the MFD's and controls. No rudders, though.
Finally, they had a "God station" where you could control weather, enemies, etc. It was a cool experience to do a touch-and-go landing in an F-16 while the weather and time of day changed and someone else was trying to shoot me down with Sidewinders!
We also got to see the Goodyear Airdock. You know, the giant building near the Akron Fulton airport? Very, very cool, since I've always wanted to see the inside of that. 200 feet high, 300 feet wide and almost 1200 feet long. Sounds like me.

Props to T for helping me to unwind after a wacky week.

Malchorious and I just beat Baal at Hell difficulty. This means that we have completed the entire game once now. Our characters were given the titles Patriarch and Matriarch. Zesty!!!

Malchorious and I finally beat Diablo himself at Hell difficulty, and the amusing part is that we died more on his supporting minions than on him. Very cool indeed, and not as hard as we thought.
Appropriately, both our character levels were 66. :) Now, on to Act 5 to kill Baal.

It looks very cool when one's cell phone says 11:11A Oct 11.

The funniest damn thing I have ever seen, I saw today. On According to Jim, a series of events lead up to his seeing his wife as an old preacher, an old woman, and his fat brother in law. I swear I was crying.

The best headline ever on Jay Leno: "Bank robbers smear faces with lemon juice to avoid cameras."
Apparently, these mouth-breathers thought that rubbing lemon juice on their faces would make the image on the security cameras blurred. We need more criminals to be this stupid. Make law enforcement easy.

I have replaced the Matrix: Revolutions trailer screenshots with the corresponding ones from the Ultra-High-Res trailer released on the official website. Get ready for super-clarity.

Some of you have asked why I got rid of the Matrix Flash intro. I'm still thinking about what to do for BlueArc, but there will be one. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, here's the old intro.

Still finishing up the Matrix Trailer screenshots. There's a lot of typing to get 100 frame numbers typed in by hand and the HTML laid out. A few Perl scripts are helping a lot.
